Upon receiving a request from a family who has chosen our funeral home, we immediately respond to the place of death and transport their loved one to our facility for refrigeration.  At first contact with the family of the decedent , we schedule a family arrangement conference at a time that is convenient with families we serve and always prefer to meet at their residence, which most families consider a much more familiar, comfortable and secure surrounding than being asked to meet at a funeral home which is an unfamiliar environment.  Our goal is to make the arrangement conference as gentle as possible.  We garner information from family members for the Death Certificate as well as Newspaper notices during the arrangement conference.  All necessary documents are filed with the State of Florida (Burial Transit Permit) Death Certificate delivery to the physician of record as well as retrival and filing with Florida vital records and secure authorization from the local Medical Examiner for Cremation Authorization (required by Fl. Statute).  Upon receiving all authorizations required by statute the cremation is scheduled and completed within the time period agreed upon and the cremated remains  are available to be received by the family at our Funeral Home or delivered at our convenience to the decedant's family or otherwise disposed of as requested.
